The NMIMS Department of International Linkages (DIL) fosters partnerships with premier institutions around the world to enhance NMIMS standing as a world-class institution.
Towards the University’s Vision to be a globally admired University by 2030, DIL has actively engaged with leading institutions around the world to foster student and faculty exchange, research collaboration and cross cultural learning. Active international partnerships lead to exciting opportunities for faculty and students and provide the environment for high quality research. Our work focuses on enhancing existing partnerships, and seeking out new opportunities in line with NMIMS international strategy.
These collaborations explore various opportunities as below:
Twining Agreements / Dual Degree Programs:
Students study a part of their Bachelor’s/ Master’s program at NMIMS and then go and complete rest of the program at a partner University abroad. They have the opportunity to earn their Bachelors/ Master’s Degree from the International University or in some cases form both NMIMS & International University.
These agreements give NMIMS students a preferred treatment over other applicants when applying to a Master’s program at our Partner Universities. These could include Early admission offers, Tuition waiver, GMAT/GRE Waiver, Streamlined admission process, personalised information sessions and more.
Short Term Mobility
To provide a cross cultural exposure and a global perspective to the students, NMIMS University provides short term mobility Programmes with leading schools & organisations overseas. These include Research Internships. Industry Internships, Summer Schools,
Visiting students add to the diversity of Knowledge and Culture at the School, and enhance the effectiveness of its pedagogy.
Faculty Exchange Programs:
Our highly qualified and expert faculty have the opportunity to travel abroad to our partner university for teaching assignments and for research. Similarly, International faculty visit NMIMS campus. Faculty members benefit from exposure to a culturally varied and diverse faculty make-up, with an opportunity to exchange ideas and observe a variety of styles. These programs present a unique opportunity for interaction between Foreign universities and Indian institutions.
Research Collaborations / Colloquiums / Seminars and Conferences:
Conferences and seminars are part of a research support system provided to faculty at NMIMS University and international scholars engaged in collaborative research or scholarly activity with NMIMS academics.The University organizes a number of research conferences and seminar with its International partners to disseminate research results, develop capacity and promote interactions among the researchers. The University, supported by the colleges has organized numerous national and international conferences and seminars in various fields of study.
University at Albany, State University of New York (UAlbany)
NMIMS has partnered with University at Albany, State University of New York (UAlbany) for a (2+2) Dual Degree Program for NMIMS - School of Commerce – BBA and BSC Finance program students.
Under this collaboration, students would study BBA / BSC Finance program for 2 years at NMIMS and then go to UAlbany - School of Business and study there for 2 more years.
On successful completion of the Dual Degree Program, students would be awarded the following degrees:
- Bachelor of Business Administration – BBA / BSC Finance – By NMIMS, ASMSOC / SOC
- Bachelor of Science, BS (Business Administration) – By UAlbany, School of Business
University of South Australia (UniSA)
NMIMS has partnered with University of South Australia (UniSA) for a (2+1+1) Twinning program for NMIMS - School of Commerce – BBA and BSc Finance program students.
Under this collaboration students would study - BBA / BSc Finance program for the first 2 years at NMIMS and then complete their final year at UniSA to get a Bachelor of Business / Bachelor of Business (Finance) degree from University of South Australia.
This can be followed by 1 year of Master of Management / Master of Professional Accounting program and get a Masters degree from UniSA.
Bachelor of Business students have the following specialisations options during their Masters studies at UniSA – Supply Chain Management, Tourism and Event Management, Human Resource Management, Advertising and Brand Management, Marketing
The final Bachelors and Masters degree would be awarded by University of South Australia (UniSA)
The University of Queensland
NMIMS has partnered with The University of Queensland (UQ) for a (1+2) Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) Agreement for NMIMS – School of Commerce students to transfer to Faculty of Business, Economics and Law (BEL) at The University of Queensland.
Under this collaboration students would study – BBA, B.Com (Hons.) and B.Sc. Finance program for the first year at NMIMS and then complete rest of the program at UQ as per the below. The final Bachelor’s degree would be awarded by The University of Queensland.

NMIMS has collaborated with Clark University for a progression agreement.
Undergraduate NMIMS students after successfully completing their respective Bachelors programs can apply to study at Clark University for their Masters studies.

Stony Brook University, State University of New York
NMIMS has collaborated with Stony Brook University for a progression agreement
Undergraduate NMIMS students after successfully completing their respective Bachelors programs can apply to study at Stony Brook University for their Masters studies.

NMIMS has collaborated with University of California, Riverside for a progression agreement

NMIMS has collaborated with University of Dallas for a Graduate Program Articulation Agreement.
Undergraduate students from NMIMS Anil Surendra Modi School of Commerce (ASMSOC) after successfully completing their respective Bachelors programs can apply to study at University of Dallas for their Masters studies.

NMIMS has collaborated with HEC Lausanne for developing exchange and co-operation in teaching and research and have agreed to promote, facilitate and implement co-operation the areas like – exchange of information and academic materials, visits and exchange by students, visits and exchange of research and teaching staff, development of collaborative research projects, organisation of joint academic activities, joint supervision of doctoral studies.
