  • Stray Strong with Zomato Feeding India (ZFI) :
Stray Strong was an RC NMIMS' ASMSOC x Paws Hunger collaboration, a 20-day volunteering event conducted from 10th September to 10th October 2020 for feeding the strays (dogs, cats, cows, or birds) in our neighbourhood. The event saw the participation of all ages and from different places in the country. An instruction manual was prepared and provided to all volunteers what-to and what-not-to feed, how to approach a stray, etc., was mentioned. Activities like meme contests and photography events were conducted to keep volunteer engagement. 'Awaaz'  was our medical aid partner who helped us provide first aid to the injured stray dogs all over Mumbai for free of cost. Our reflective collar partner, 'Super Dodo, ' provided reflective collars to volunteers all over India at a minimal cost. Zomato Feeding India (ZFI), looking at our initiative, approached us to continue this event by collaborating with them.
  •  Funscape :
The Community Services Avenue of RC NMIMS' ASMSOC conducted a fun and interactive session for people with gifted abilities with an NGO called 'Advitya.' It is a creative center for those gifted with conditions like Down's syndrome, Autism, and Cerebral Palsy, among others. They aim to enhance people's lives with different abilities by leveraging their skills, building confidence in them through vocation, providing their families with a robust support system, and creating awareness about the cause. An online event was conducted on the zoom platform, which included games and activities like finding the odd one out spot the difference, and Simon says through a PowerPoint presentation. The event ended on a musical note where everyone sang and danced to old and new songs.
  •  Period Power 2.0 :

Period Power is an initiative to create awareness and importance about menstrual hygiene. We collaborated with a pad company called 'Pink days,' who helped us with pad packets. The pad donation drive was being conducted simultaneously in two different locations, i.e., Wadala (E) and Nehru Nagar (Vile Parle). Together with the club members and volunteers from 'Help Other' in Wadala East and from 'Ray of Hope' in Nehru Nagar, we distributed 300+ pads through the slums and ensured that pads and required education were provided in every house with women and young girls.
