The ASMSOC Social Responsibility Forum (SRF) has succeeded in sensitizing students and bringing the Anil Surendra Modi School of Commerce into the limelight through coverage of its events in the media. SRF works toward a variety of causes including child education, cancer-affected children and environment. It has associations with NGOs like Make a Difference (MAD) and GOONJ.
The Sports Club is an association of young and enthusiastic sports persons of the ASMSOC, committed to multiple sports, which fields many teams and in several sports. The mission of the Sports Club is to provide a variety of leisure time sports and activities that will enhance the students’ overall college experience. Among its disciplines are Football, Table Tennis, Basketball, Cricket and Athletics.
The Cultural Club of ASMSOC aims to unite the arts of music, dance, drama, fine arts and fashion. It has organised various workshops, which have equipped students with the expertise to do well at both city and nationwide college festivals.
The objective of the Entrepreneurship Cell is to create Entrepreneurial Leaders of tomorrow. The E-Cell plans to conduct various workshops and Entrepreneurship forums. This student body has also signed an MOU with the National Entrepreneurship Network (NEN) to attain support in its functioning. This affiliation makes ASMSOC one of the very few undergraduate Management colleges to do so.
Literary Club of NMIMS organises enriching competitions in the form of quizzes, debates and other literary events. The benefits accruing from the activities of this club are far reaching, enabling students to get involved in both organising and participating in events that stimulate literary thought and expression.
The Marketing Club of ASMCOM is a professional association, which aims to enhance your marketing quotient through knowledge sharing and exposure to practical aspects of marketing. It plans to conduct various activities like case discussions, guest lectures, and intra and inter collegiate activities, which will bring in maximum participation. The club aims to achieve the fullest growth in the world of marketing.
The Nature club was constituted during the academic year 2012-13 with the aim of developing the overall personalities of students and instilling general consciousness about the environment and the various threats today’s society poses on it.
To achieve this motive, the club organizes exciting and lively events and activities during the academic year, the highlight being outdoor excursions for students.
